The waterfall is located in Tarakhola rural municipality and is a natural attraction for visitors. The waterfall has its source at Daramkhola which flows through Amarbhumi village.

With the development of roads, there are many access points from where visitors can reach the waterfall such as Rijalchowk, Galkot Hatiya Bazar and Harichaur. Many trekking routes are available from this waterfall area. There is a popular religious site known as Kalibaraha pond/Temple, locally known as Motimare at about 3 km uphill. Motimare connects Kalilekh, Shibadhuri, Latekhoriya and Jhuleni.
