On March 17, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has declared Pokhara as the Tourism Capital of Nepal. It is suggested that Pokhara fulfills the criteria of 20 different indicators to be designated as a tourist capital. Prime Minister unveiled a logo and memorial pillar relating to the touristic capital. Hope that tourist flow would increase after the declaration of Pokhara as the tourism capital.
