Poon Hill yoga trek provides a wonderful opportunity to witness the beauty of the Annapurna range and the hidden treasures of Nepalese culture.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu

We will welcome you at the airport and transfer to the center, discuss the program, proceed for the government paperwork, overnight stay at the centre.

Day 02 : Transfer to Pokhara (910m)

Drive to Pokhara in the morning in available standard micro bus or tourist bus (4-5 hours). This bus ride passes through the hilly winding road along with the Trishuli River having great views of the river, forests and terraced fields; overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 03 : Pokhara – Tikhedhunga (1,525m) 3-4hrs

Early morning wake up then we have tea before Yoga. We practice Yoga for an hour then have breakfast. After breakfast we drive to Nayapul (50 km). We start our trek towards Tikhedhunga. On the trek we pass through a few towns, reaching to Tikhedhunga. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.

Day 04 : Tikhedhunga – Banthanti (2,130m) 5-6hrs

After tea, yoga and breakfast in the morning; we start our trek towards Banthanti. On the way, we cross a stream on a suspension bridge. Trek to a Magar village which is called Ulleri. Above the village where the trail climbs gently through the cultivated fields, rhododendron and oak forests then stop at Nangethanti for lunch and short rest. After lunch we will start walking towards Banthanti through the beautiful forest. Evening Yoga, relaxation and sleep in Banthanti.

Day 05 : Banthanti – Ghorepani (2,850m) 4-5hrs

Wake up in the morning, you will get a tea and then join for the yoga class. You will be served breakfast then we start our hiking towards Ghorepani, exploring the local culture, landscapes & mountains. Evening yoga, relaxation, dinner and overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 06 : Ghorepani – Poon Hill (3,210m) – Tadapani 6-7hrs

Wake up early in the morning then an hour hike to Poon Hill. Where you can enjoy panoramic mountain views and beautiful sunrise view from the eyes of your mind. Then we trek down to Ghorepani and have breakfast then start our trek to Tadapani, meaning far water supply in this village from long distance. The trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali. Then descend to reach Banthanti and reach Tadapani, do yoga in the evening. Overnight in the tourist lodge.

Day 07 : Tadapani (2630m) – Ghandruk (2,000m) 4-5hrs – Pokhara

Wake up in the morning and practice Yoga. After Yoga we have breakfast. Then our trek continues towards Ghandruk. After walking around 4 hours we reach Ghandruk, a Gurung village which is the most interesting ethnic village in Nepal famous for its Gorkha soldiers. It has excellent close-up views of Annapurna South and Fishtail Himalayas. After lunch, We drive back to Pokhara via Nayapul. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 08 : Departure

You can leave for your next destination in the morning after breakfast.
